It was a warm Saturday night in New York City as a mixed crowd of atheists and Christians converged on Calvary Baptist Church in midtown Manhattan for the first "Nightline Face-Off." And it wasn't long before temperatures began to rise inside the auditorium.
The question for our debate was "Does God Exist?" and both sides went at the issue with a series of passionate declarations and critical attacks on the arguments of their opponents. It was a clean but unflinching contest.
Former child star Kirk Cameron and his evangelist colleague Ray Comfort had pledged to prove the existence of God, scientifically. Cameron and Comfort run an organization called the Way of the Master, which comprises a Web site and cable television show, all focused on preaching what they say is the truth of Christianity.

There
is not a more ruthless and evil group today than the
Rational
Response Squad (RRS), a group of atheists who
have launched a website called
The Blasphemy Challenge (which
offers to send people a DVD if they post on Youtube.com a video of
themselves condemning themselves to Hell). “There's only one catch: We
want your soul,” the website states.
“It's simple. You record a short message damning yourself to Hell, you upload it to YouTube, and then the Rational Response Squad will send you a free 'The God Who Wasn't There' DVD.”
Note that as of July 2010 they're now selling the Blasphemy Challenge DVD's for $24.95. It's titled, “The God Who Wasn't There” DVD. It's pathetically put together by some Micky-Mouse historians, and I use the term generously. They don't understand the origin of Christianity themselves. Christianity didn't begin with Jesus. Christianity actually outdates even ancient Babylon and Egypt.
The Word of God goes right back to the very creation of man (4,004 B.C.), and we see God killing the first animal (which symbolized the slain Lamb of God Who would one day take away the sins of the world) to provide clothing for Adam and Eve.
We read in Genesis 15:6 that Abram (later to be named Abraham) believed God and it was COUNTED UNTO HIM FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS! Amen! This is what Romans 4:3-6 teach as well. So Biblical Christianity goes back all the way to Adam and Eve and the very early centuries of time. Abraham lived at 2,000 B.C. There has always been only ONE gospel (Acts 10:43).
The website states... “You may damn yourself to Hell however you would like, but somewhere in your video you must say this phrase: 'I deny the Holy Spirit.' ” “Why? Because, according to Mark 3:29 in the Holy Bible, 'Whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; he is guilty of an eternal sin.' ”
Those are all actual
quotes from their website. Can you imagine such hatred for God and the
Bible? God will not be mocked (Galatians 6:7). The Rational
Response Squad website promotes such blasphemies as The God Who
Wasn't There Movie, Jesus is for Suckers T-shirts, Infidel Guy Radio, Jesus is a Mythicist Campaign,
and the Sense
& Goodness Without God book.
The Blasphemy Challenge is Based in Apostate California!
It does not come as a surprise to me that the mailing address of The Blasphemy Challenge group, Beyond Belief Media Company, is on Sunset blvd in Los Angeles, California. When I stayed in West Hollywood during July of 2009 while getting neck surgery, I saw a lot of things that opened my eyes. I saw firsthand that Hollywood is a cesspool of iniquity. I saw séances happening in local stores. I saw Psychics, Palm Readers and Tarot Card readers advertised everywhere.
There's a lot of spoiled rich white kids, brats, driving brand new cards, whose mom and dad have lots of money. The entire Hollywood area is saturated with wickedness. The local news media is reflective of the sinfulness of the community. I realized while in Hollywood that shows like the Simpsons and South Park are far more than mere attacks against God, the family and decency; they are the outpouring of a whole community of Californians. That is Hollywood!!! South Park is California! the Simpsons and The Ozzy Osbourne MTV special are Hollywood! They're all a bunch of kooks, quacks and queers! They don't call California “The Granola State” for nothing. It's the land of fruits and nuts! You can keep California. The water's too cold. The people are too weird. The laws are too strict.
The damnable heresy of Lordship Salvation is rooted in California-based pastors (John MacArthur), publishers (Jack Chick) and televangelists (Ray Comfort). Maybe it's something in the water supply...lol. There are more cults, false prophets and scams in California than anywhere else in the United States in my opinion.
San Francisco is infamous for concentrations of homosexuals. I was riding a bus in West Hollywood and a man named Marcus sat next to me on the bus. He immediately told me that he had lived in San Francisco for 12-years. At that point I became leery that perhaps he was a homosexual. He then told me that he didn't have a problem with homosexuality. Who would start off a conversation with something like that? A homosexual perhaps? I felt he was testing the waters, so I replied that I do have a problem with homosexuality. A black woman who heard what I said gave me a dirty look. I felt like I was in Sodom. I wonder how many righteous people God would find in America today? You'd be surprised. You'd have to exclude 99% of all religions, because they follow their own manmade traditions and teachings instead of the holy Scriptures.
There is a lot of sinful arrogance in California because of all the woeful wickedness; a lack of decent Bible-believing, soul-winning, Christ-honoring, sin-hating, people-loving churches; [CWS] Celebrity Worship Syndrome and lots of wealthy people that don't want God in their life. Beverly Hills is a cesspool of wickedness! The Hollywood Walk of Fame by the Chinese Grumman Theatre ought to be called the Hollyweird Walk of Shame! Harry Potter was the featured movie that week at the Chinese Grumman Theatre, decked out with all its Chinese architectural beauty as a historic landmark.
As I walked around the corner from the front of the theatre, I noticed a group of people gathered around a star, so I peered through the store window to see whose name appeared on the sidewalk. It was Michael Jackson's star. He had died just days earlier from a massive drug-overdose, which is exactly how his partying father-in-law, Elvis Presley, died at age 42. My heart sunk in sadness, for I know Mr. Jackson went to Hell in his sins. You say, “How do you know that?” It's because Jackson with a lifelong Jehovah's Witness and then allegedly converted over to Islam a year before he died; but either way, both of those religions reject the Savior as being God, deny the Godhead, deny Jesus' bodily resurrection, deny the Holy Spirit, and so forth. Michael Jackson by all indications went to Hell. But only God and Michael know for certain. The big question is: Where are you going to spend eternity?
You may not believe the Bible, but it makes no difference; you're still going to be judged for your life. Matthew 12:36 says that God will hold us accountable for even the words we speak. Revelation 20:11-15 says that the books shall be opened, and the dead will be judged according to those books. God doesn't use computers, He likes to do things the old-fashioned way. Books are more simple. A computer may crash and wipe out all the data, but God's books don't crash or have glitches in them. It's amazing to me that the Creator of the universe chooses to record men's works with pen and paper in books. And so it is! What is being written down about you this day?
Most importantly, is your
name recorded into the Lamb's Book of Life for salvation? Revelation
20:15, “And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast
into the lake of fire.” That sounds rational to me. Jesus—please don't
leave earth without Him! Getting saved is so easy, a caveman can do it!
Irrational Response Squad
ABC Nightline ran a story on these blasphemers, getting the attention of evangelist Ray Comfort. This led to an ABC Nightline Face Off, in which Brian Sapient of the Rational Response Squad actually called Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron "TERRORISTS." That's pretty scary folks? When professed Christians are being labeled as "terrorists" on national TV, something is very wrong. Read what Rosie O'Donnell said about Christians. Tragically, many Americans do NOT appreciate what God has done for them, and have NO gratitude. Very few Americans truly appreciate God enough to live right.
The ABC Nightline Face Off took place in New York City...
Ray Comfort did make good on his promise to prove the existence of God, using various arguments. He held up a painting of Mona Lisa and pointed out to the audience that there must be a painter if there is a painting. Only a fool would say otherwise. Of course, the atheists laughed at him in disagreement. Well, they won't be laughing in Hellfire. Mr. Comfort pointed out that creation itself was scientific proof of God. And by the way, this is exactly what Romans 1:20 states...
"For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are CLEARLY SEEN, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse."
Don't miss the last part of the verse... SO THAT THEY ARE WITHOUT EXCUSE! You have no excuse! Biblically, there is NO such thing as an atheist. In the early stages of a child's life, they recognize that there must be a God, a Divine Creator. It is public school brainwashing, with the lies of Evolution, that blind children to the truth. I want you to think about something, which if you'll be honest, PROVES that evolution is a lie. Here's the thought... children must be taught Evolution or they would never believe such nonsense. A child who sees, hears, feels, touches, and tastes God's creation doesn't need to be taught that there's a Divine Creator. It is obvious knowledge! Evolution must be taught, because nothing in nature supports it's claims, i.e., it doesn't come natural. Evolution is a cleverly crafted system of lies to counter the Word of God.
During the ABC Nightline Face Off, Brian Sapient said that creation just happened. Now that is just ridiculous folks! I agree with Kirk Cameron... "It takes more faith to be an atheist than it does to be a Christian." There is not one legitimate shred of evidence in support of Evolution. Psalm 19:1 states...
"The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard."
Interestingly, Ray Comfort has written a book titled, God Doesn't Believe in Atheists. By the way, I am not a fan of Ray Comfort, as he teaches damnable Lordship Salvation.
The atheist's website... at http://www.rationalresponders.com, has much profane cursing on it in the videos. The overwhelming theme of the Atheist's website is destructive, trying to disprove the existence of God.
At the end of the BLASPHEMY CHALLENGE video, a woman boasts "I deny the Holy Spirit and I'm not afraid." Well young lady, you will be... YOU WILL BE!

The Atheists at BLASPHEMY CHALLENGE.COM are correct about one thing... they have committed the unpardonable sin. There can be no salvation other than through Jesus Christ (Acts 4:10-12). If you blaspheme the Holy Spirit's conviction by deliberately rejecting the Savior, then you are hopelessly lost in your sins. Ye are fallen from grace, i.e., you've passed up your only ride to Heaven.
The Irrational Rational Response Squad will one day bow on their faces before Jesus Christ...
"Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."
The Laws of Thermodynamics state that energy can be neither created, nor destroyed. Brain Sapient attempts to use this scientific fact to discredit the Biblical account of creation. Mr. Sapient alleging that God could not have created something out of nothing, for in doing so He would have violated nature's laws. However, it must be noted that Mr. Sapient's reasoning is from the perspective that the Bible is not the World of God. The Bible states in 2nd Peter 3:5...
"For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old..."
Here is the entire creation account in one simple statement... that by the word of God the heavens were of old. God literally SPOKE this universe into existence, i.e., Jesus Christ, by His own Divine Power, spake everything into existence (John 1:1-3; Colossians 1:14-16). Man was the only exception, whom God lovingly formed with His own hands from the dust of the earth. What a Wonderful God. It is unbelievable, that a 20 or 30-year old pipsqueak would dare attack the honor, integrity and very existence of God.
To say there is NO God is an absolute statement, which is impossible for a person to prove. There is no way that any one person could know everything. I laugh when I hear astronomers say that only 10% of the universe has been discovered. How do they know that? Maybe it's 1%, or .0000001%, or 100%. Truthfully, they DON'T really know. No one does except God.
I find it interesting that many of the same people who claim to be atheists also believe in aliens. By definition, God is an alien, i.e., He exists beyond this earth's atmosphere. Could not your alien be God? This is a good argument for atheists. If you claim there is NO God, but you believe in extraterrestrial life, then you have contradicted yourself horribly. I'll tell you something else that's interesting, MOST of your atheists are young folks. Look at the people behind the BLASPHEMY CHALLENGE video and website... their kids! Well, kids to me at least. It's interesting that most atheists are younger folks, who are either in college or just graduated (brainwashed with worldly thinking).
You see, most people wise up as they grow older and experience life. I can guarantee you that those blasphemous websites will disappear one day, when those children grow up. I don't see too many 70 year old men and women aggressively supporting atheism. Oh, but how many wonderful dear saints of God are in their silver years, clipping coupons from years of serving the Lord.
If you'll open your heart, and not just your eyes, you'll see the wonders of God all around you. In one of the Atheist's videos on http://www.rationalresponders.com, a young woman states, "I can't feel God, can't see God, can't touch God, and can't hear God... so why should I believe in God?" I suppose she doesn't believe in gravity either, because you can't see it. The truth is that we can see God, if we want to acknowledge Him. Nature itself declares the goodness and omnipotence of God (Psalm 19:1). Our own human body is incredibly complex, yet amazingly simple.
The human eye is absolutely astounding. Mankind can't even repair a damaged spinal cord, let alone create a life. Yet, we kill millions of babies and destroy life that ONLY GOD CAN GIVE. It hurts me to see young people blaspheming God, and denying the Holy Spirit. Those brats need to see what it's like to grow up in a Communist nation, with no freedom, little food, and contaminated water. It's amazing how many people fall on their knees to God when disaster strikes, as did the folks on the sinking Titanic.
We are a spoiled nation in America, and many of our children out-of-control brats. Sadly, yesterdays brats are today's adult, so we have a nation of spoiled brats. And that's a good word... "brat" (i.e., a troublesome child). America is plagued with brats, who arrogantly shake their fists at God in rebellion, flaunting their sins, and openly blaspheming His precious holy name. Woe unto America!
